Our vacation house, Chalets de Dorado del Mar, is located on a cul-de-sac in the prestigious Dorado del Mar elegantly manicured community. This beautiful home has a private back yard with a very small pool, 42' plasma TV along many other amenities for your enjoyment. This is a private 2 story, 3 bedroom + den, 2 car garage house which offers 24hr security with gated access. You are a few minutes drive away from the Embassy Suites Dorado Beach Resort and Golf. You can walk along the beach and participate in the hotel amenities such as golf, shopping and other conveniences. Dorado is located on the north coast of the island of Puerto Rico just 20-30 minutes from San Juan, Old San Juan, and Plaza las Americas (the largest shopping mall in the Caribbean). Relax and take in the tropical lifestyle and surroundings of this small quiet town. Renters must be 25 years or older.
After receiving your confirmation email with intent to rent, your reservation will go on a 48 hour courtesy hold while I receive the security/damage deposit payment ($500). This deposit cannot be used to pay for your rental fees and will be returned to you within 30 days of departure if no damages occur to the property. The property will only be booked after having a legal and financial commitment (deposit and signed rental contract) in hand.

Where to go!: Go to El Morro in Old San Juan to see a six-level fortress (the Caribbean's largest) dating back to the 1500s and incredible views of San Jan Bay. For further 1500s fun, go to La Fortaleza, which was originally built by Charles V to ward off attack by Caribe Indians, but has since been converted into an opulent governor's mansion. Considered holy by ancient civilizations and rumored to be visited by aliens, El Yunque rainforest is a spectacular aggregation of vegetation and wildlife. The forest is home to 150 fern species, brilliantly colored flowers, and the nearly extinct Puerto Rican parrot. It lies only 45 minutes from San Juan near Luquillo. For nature's magic show, wear your goggles at night and go kayaking in a lagoon beneath a crescent moon to see a dazzling display of bioluminescence. The greenish sparkle is actually the light of thousands of glow-in-the-dark plankton, but to the casual observer dipping a paddle into the deep, it looks like illusory pixie dust. |
